Hello there, I’m Lea — that’s right, I’m not Molly. Molly is my adorable cat, who’s been my companion for years and the inspiration behind my brand name.
But before I tell you more about him, let me introduce myself. I’m 24 years old, and food has always been a passion of mine — even before I knew how to cook.

Growing up, homemade food was a big part of my life. My mom made sure there was always a good meal on the table, and my dad loved cooking on weekends. I was still a little kid when I started helping in the kitchen — or at least, I thought I was helping.
Over the years, I learnt more and more about cooking, but food has always meant more to me than just eating.
It’s about bringing together wholesome ingredients and great flavors to create nutritious and delicious meals, satisfying snacks, and wonderful treats — without compromising or overcomplicating things. And most of all, it’s about enjoying the process of cooking and eating – especially with others. That’s why I decided to start this blog and my Instagram account @mollysfooddiaries.

When I’m not cooking, baking, or eating, I love spending my time outside – especially if my cat joins me. I like staying active through walking, running, and weightlifting – which is why you’ll find a lot of high-protein recipes on here. I also enjoy creative writing, reading, and playing the piano – and have so for years.

But enough about me — now a few words about Molly. He joined me almost 12 years ago, and we’ve had a close bond ever since. Whether I’m sleeping, working on my laptop, or enjoying the sun outside, he loves being around — sometimes even trying to distract me to get all my attention. While he may not share my passion for cooking, he definitely shares my love for food — often following me into the kitchen first thing in the morning, hoping for a treat before I even have coffee or breakfast. So naming my brand after my beloved cat felt just right.
If you want to see more of Molly, follow me on Instagram! I’ll be sharing plenty of cute cat stories — along with a lot of delicious food, of course.
Love,
Lea
